WRITER/DIRECTOR - ANDREW R. POWELL
Writer/director Andrew R. Powell felt the subject matter would
make a perfect comedy. "Quitting smoking isn't fun,"
he observes. "It's painful, frustrating, and causes all kinds
of irrationality and mental distress. That's pure comedy."
Powell makes his writing/directing debut after 16 years as a noted
film and TV composer with over 300 credits for clients like NBC,
CBS, ABC, Tri-Star Pictures, Castle Rock Entertainment, Universal
Pictures, The Disney Channel, The History Channel, and Nickelodeon.
He has recently done an increasing amount of work as a film editor
cutting the music videos "Mercury", "Che's Song",
and "River Thames" for director Kurt Voss ("Baja",
"Amnesia", "Down and Out with the Dolls"),
the documentary "The Making of Border Radio", a Spike
TV interstitial for director Allison Anders ("Gas, Food,
and Lodging", "Mi Vida Loca", "Four Rooms",
"Sex and the City"), and a 35mm film for director Alex
Ugelow.

CINEMATOGRAPHER - ERIC PETERSEN
With
over 10 years experience, cinematographer Eric Petersen's client
list includes TLC, The Discovery Channel, ESPN, SpeedVision, and
AOL/Time Warner. Petersen got his start as a video-journalist which
is evident in the action sequences in "Quitters". His
recent work on the feature "The Utopian Society" has garnered
much attention including a Best Cinematography in the Ashland Independent
Film Festival.

PRODUCER - AARON RATTNER
Having
worked as producer, line producer, unit production manager, and
post-production supervisor on dozens of independent film projects,
Rattner knows how to get a film made. In addition to producing "Quitters",
he also served as Assistant Director. His credits include "Dreamers",
"Burning Annie", "All the Babes Want to Kill Me",
and "Cats and Mice".

PRODUCER - CHRIS POWELL
Sound
engineer and guitarist Chris Powell has been working professionally
in post-production for 12 years (NBC, ABC, Castle Rock Entertainment,
The Disney Channel, The History Channel, Nickelodeon). In addition
to conceiving the initial concept for "Quitters", Chris
Powell worked as sound recordist and was responsible for all post
sound including the music mix, foley recording, ADR recording, and
sound mixing.
